Our greatest advantage is that we are a small investment house within a large investment house. The field of managing investment portfolios for private investors is relatively new in the Halman-Aldubi Group, and was launched only in 2007. Our limited clientele enables us to give each client personal consideration and maximum attention to every portfolio we manage. On the other hand we rely on the resources of the large investment house which provides us with support in the field of analysis, exchange of ideas, backing and auditing.
We are convinced that the disciplined methodology of constructing an investments portfolio on the basis of "value" will produce a surplus yield with relatively low risk (according to the risk profile determined by the client).
We take very seriously the responsibility we bear when managing other people's portfolios and money. We will aspire to maintain the correct balance between safeguarding and protecting the client's money and achieving an appropriate yield.
One of the values we advocate is reliability. We clarify all cost in advance and refrain from situations of conflict of interest:
- We do not deal in underwriting, and therefore, anyway we do not buy securities of an underwriter connected with us.
- We do not share commissions with the banks, but obtain the lowest commissions for our clients.
- We have no brokerage activity, i.e. we do not engage in trading securities for a commission.
The Halman-Aldubi Group is one of the most prominent investment houses owned by active partners. The Group has vast experience in investment management and a varied professional staff which includes economists, analysts and traders. The investments portfolio will be managed out of your account, at the bank of your choice, that will suit you personally, according to your needs and preferences.
Eitan Etzioni, the company CEO, has extensive experience in investment portfolio management. He served as manager of the investments department dealing with large clients at the Israel Discount Bank, was deputy manager of the Nostro department at the bank and was also a portfolio manager at Oppenheimer Capital in New York. Etzion holds an MBA (cum laude) from Wharton University, U.S.A.

We make limited investment in mutual funds which are managed by Ayalon Mutual funds Ltd., and which external portfolio manager is Halman-Aldubi Institutional Portfolio Management Ltd. Being a "marketer-portfolio manager" we may prefer to acquire the above mentioned mutual funds, with which we are associated. "Investment Marketing" as defined in the law (Regulation of Investment Advice, Investment Marketing and Investment Portfolio Management Law, 1995), is the "provision of consulting services to others concerning the feasibility of an investment, holding, purchase or sale of securities or financial assets, while the provider of the consulting service has an association with the financial asset." When such portfolio manager is associated with a financial asset, it may be that the portfolio manager will prefer - concerning the investment portfolio management and/or when providing the consulting service - a financial asset with which he is associated over another financial asset with which he is not associated, but which is similar from the aspect of its suitability for the needs of the client to the financial asset with which he is associated.
Our entity is related to the institutional entity Halman-Aldubi Provident and Pension Funds Ltd., which manages provident funds, study funds and pension funds. Moreover, we are associated with the managing partner of Israel Opportunity – Energy Resources, Limited Partnership. However, as an organizational decision, we do not invest in its Participation Units.
